Marvellous bike with a lot of details, this New Mail Light Roadster from William Read & Son, from Boston Massachusetts.
Look at the way the chain is tensioned by adjusting the bracket, look at the penny farthing-like rear wheel bearings (this construction was also used on the Lovell).
The band brake is a very good detail. It has tangent spokes and early tube type pneumtic tyres. I really love it!
